Gotta Love a Man Who Cooks

Fortunately for me Kim enjoys watching the Food Network. Aaron McCargo was on the other day making Blackened Salmon with Blue Cheese Sauce.

So up Kim jumps to the computer, downloads the recipe and he's off and running. (And he calls me a good cook.)

Kim has made this recipe twice, once for us and again last Sunday when we invited my daughter and her boyfriend for dinner. The salmon was fantastic and we all loved it. If you like salmon, give it a try.

For the same dinner I attempted to follow this recipe by Ina Garten (who I love) and all I got for my effort was a bowlful of liquid cream. Not what I wanted. Oh well. I have lots of raspberry sauce. Time to buy some vanilla ice cream I guess.

You are one lucky woman. Sounds and looks delicious! The last time my husband decided he just HAD to make something it was Justin Wilson's bacon peanut butter dip. Blergh.

He's top notch at barbecuing pig and stuff like that. I grill, he barbecues. I don't have the patience for barbecue.

Yum! We have some nice wild salmon for grilling this weekend. The Lawn Man doesn't garden, but he does most of the cooking around here. I love a man who cooks. Breakfast in the making right now, while I get to play!
