Vegas Baby! Part 2

As I said in my last Vegas post, the decadence of this town is hard to absorb.
Here I am in the lobby of the Venetian Hotel. (I even took pics of the public restrooms in this and the Paris Hotel. Yeah, I know that makes me sound like a country bumpkin, and maybe I am, but they're soooo pretty!)

This is the hallway leading to the lobby.

Paris hotel at night:

I treated myself to lunch at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant.

And what a treat it was! Their service made me feel like a queen, even in my jeans and T-shirt.

Cream of Butternut Squash soup:

Ocean Seafood Salad with Lobster, Shrimp and Crab

And Crème brûlée for dessert.

It was all sooooo delicious!

In my final Vegas post I'll show you the two reasons why I went to Las Vegas.

Love the pictures. We went to a metal building convention several years ago and stayed at The Venetian. It is one of the most beautiful hotels that I have ever seen. It looks like you enjoyed your trip. Carla

Whoa that dessert is beautiful but the Ocean Seafood Salad would definitely be something I'd want to munch on.
I've never been to Vegas but would love to see it someday. I went to Reno once and came down with strep throat only to spend the evening in the bathroom laying on their big chaise lounges burning up 'til everyone was ready to leave. We didn't know at the time it was strep throat until they got me back to the Dr. Great way to see Reno huh?

It certainly is over the top but what fun you must have had especially treating yourself to lunch, that looked delicious....

I haven't been to Vegas in years but want to go back so bad. I remember loving walking around the Venetian and Paris and thinking they were so cool. I don't even care about gambling there's so much to see in the hotels and lots of good people watching too.
