Mostly Fall

Hope your Halloween was great.

Ours was fun.

Wish I'd done this:

These great looking witches were all made by hand by Jeanne. Amazing, aren't they? I can just imagine what a hit they were with the trick or treaters. Just look at those teeth! Check out her Halloween blog.
(She's got a great video on her blog now of her Halloween decor.)

You can also tag along as she gardens in Idaho at her Gone Feral in Idaho blog.

I'm loving the shed Kim built for us.

Look at my containers inside, all neat and tidy and ready for winter.

And an update on Tootsie's molting. She's growing new feathers!

She must be feeling better because she's chasing the dog again.

Finally, some fall pics from the garden.

Sumac over the pond.

Fall crocus.

Koreana Sheffield Chrysanthemum.

Dogwood tree.

And of course, now that it's November 2, you know what's coming.

Yes. I put up some Christmas lights today! (Sorry, I couldn't resist, the weather has just been too darn nice.)

I'm glad to see Tootsie is doing better! I also didn't know there were fall crocus flowers. You guys have one of the prettiest yards ever. Oh, and don't feel bad, I'll be listening to Christmas music from here on out. I don't even really celebrate the holiday, but I like the music.

Jeanne is very creative, must spend a great deal of time for this fun holiday.
That shed is too cute.
Hope you're not like us...it starts out tidy then after a year or so of not cleaning...well ,you can't find anything you're looking for.
Didn't realize dogwood trees are so pretty in the fall.

You're so smart to put up Christmas lights now! I should follow your lead...
Love your new shed too. Your hubby is very handy I must say. Everything he builds, looks so professional. I think the shed adds to the overall attractiveness of your whole garden.
Now, could he come build me a greenhouse?!!! :-)

Those decorations are amazing! She's very talented.
Your garden looks so pretty, I love the Sumac and wish I had a spot for one.
My 4 year old has been asking to get the Christmas decorations out since November 1st. It was a good idea to get the lights up early since it's no fun when it's cold and wet.
