A Giveaway

I've been on the receiving end of such nice giveaways lately that I thought it was time to add to someone else's joy.

So........I'm offering you a choice of two books.

The first one is Organic Gardening, an essential guide to natural gardening. By Christine and Michael Lavelle.

I like this book. For vegetables it offers information on soil and aspect, propagation, harvesting and storage and culinary uses. Nice. There's a lot of info in this mid sized book.

Next is something I consider essential. A blank book.

Just waiting for your deepest thoughts and pearls of wisdom.

Well, whatever. I've kept a garden journal since June 11, 2000. Wish I'd started sooner. If you keep a garden journal you know how valuable and entertaining they can be. (Especially in the winter months). If you've never had one, well, it's time to start.

So, just leave a comment and tell me which book you'd prefer.

I'll draw names July 17th.

I'd love to have a look at that Organic Gardening book! This is the first year that I haven't put any Miracle Grow on my veggie garden... or any of my flowers for that matter! I'm so proud :)

Kim and Victoria,

Guess Meg would not want the organic gardening book as she started an organic farm 28 years ago and might be considered a pioneer in the field, surely she would scoff at me for saying that. But the journal would be wonderful.

I have several Organic gardening books, but have never seen that one, so it looks interesting. One can always learn something new.

I'm taking myself out of the running for either, not because they aren't wonderful, but because I just want to say what a fabulous thing to be doing, to just "give away" things! I might have to follow suit real soon!

I will have to catch up on mine in the winter! I was doing great on it until I started blogging! So when Winter rolls around I will be busy! I would take either one! So sign me up
