I opened the back door this morning and this is what greeted me...

It's a ceramic lizard my son and I made years ago and I decided to recently toss it in the trash. Looks like it doesn't agree with my decision. Maybe I'll keep him.

The stream is coming along...

the fish are hungry...

We went shopping for rock today. We've decided to re-do the Moongarden floor in stone. We decided on Lion's Pride Flagstone. I forgot to take the camera, dang it. Anyway, at a cost of $400 it will have to wait for next year!

Our Japanese Maple tree is doing well in the shade garden finally...

No big issues today. We spent the day gardening. Kim had a filling at the dentist this AM. Casey is working as a hoddie for his dad and nights at his job busing at the restaurant. We'll see how long he can work two jobs.

Almost time to say goodbye to Spring...

It was 85 degrees today!

Beautiful stream! I just love the idea of having some water in the garden. But I'm probably not ready for all that work;)

Kim/Thomas - I rescued the lizard, I guess we'll hang him on a wall somewhere - maybe on the fence.

Jeffrey - the stream is 14 feet long. It's 8 feet from the top, near the shed, then makes a 90 degree turn and continues towards the pond for the last 6 feet.

Bek - yeah, I have to admit, streams and ponds are work. But worth it, we think.
