Random Visitors

Kim and I are still here, just busy. My days off are changing, again, and still not quite settled. Makes for some long work weeks. And with the heat we've been having; double whammy.

So just a quick post of some garden visitors this week.

Squirrels.
Never going to see the end of them, are we?

Hummingbird enjoying the crocosmia.

And the three "girls" sitting as if they're guests.

A changing work schedule makes it such a challenge to keep up with the regular routine. I'm in the same boat now, still trying to figure it all out. Hope you're getting some rest and some relief from all the hot weather.

I love squirrels! They are so funny! I know they drive a lot of people crazy, but I just can't help my love!

Amazing hummingbird picture! I tried to take one on vacation, where the bushes were filled with them, but none of mine came out. Don't know if it was me or my (cheap) camera, lol!

Love your blog! Thanks for visiting me. You are now added to my blog roll.
I had no idea that Idaho experienced 100+ degree temps.
The garden tour and the pond tour sound like lots of fun. As big as our city is (Phoenix), you would think we would have more of that, but no. I'm going to have a pond/garden/open studio tour at my home this coming Fall. We'll see how it goes.
You are so lucky to have a husband that enjoys gardening with you. My husband would prefer that we cement over the entire yard. Can you believe that??? Horror I tell ya, pure horror.

Very beautiful photos! I love the clarity of the hummingbird! We don't have squirrels in our neighborhood--yet! Knock on wood :) Sorry to hear about the change in schedule...I hope in the long run it will be a good thing! We just got back from vacation (Yellowstone) and I'm catching up reading on everyone's blogs. Wish I could be like your chicks roosting on a chair right now :)

Whoa ~ that hummingbird shot is breath-taking Victoria!!! You make me green with envy. I'd love to take such a photo! Wish we could take some of that heat off your hands. It's hardly been hot at all here and we're waiting for it. The chicks are really growing up and they are still just as cute as ever.
