Garden in August

Yesterday while I was out in the garden, I was lamenting over the lack of flowering this time of year. But, when I really paused to look, I did find quite a bit going on. This slide show includes two re-seeding annuals; larkspur (which I did not know would re-bloom) and calendulas, which I think are indispensable. The remaining 18 flowers are perennials, and all in bloom now. (I have stopped complaining.)
You can drag across each slide to identify the flower.

Really nice to look at. You have such a huge variety of plants.
