They're Back

These gorgeous flowering trees in our neighborhood that is.

And the Lazuli Buntings.

These little birds never hang around long and they're very nervous but when you see one it's such a thrill.

I've been busy-busy gardening. It's been great! :-)

The bunting is exciting! I have only seen one in my lifetime. We had a Summer Tanager in the apple tree on Sunday. The apples are quarter sized already, that tells how long ago it bloomed.

J'adore les couleurs ici révélées, entre le vert de la pelouse et le rose des arbres, ainsi que le bleu de l'oiseau, tout est magnifique comme d'habitude.

Agree, those flowering trees are beautiful, so is the grass.
How the heck did you manage to get that clear shot of the Bunting ? GREAT !!

Beautiful photos. I guess it doesn't compute for me that your seasons are timed differently than N.California! Our first flowers are way behind us, so it is a treat to see and enjoy your post. Oh, and I would love to see one of those little blue birds up close!

The trees are gorgeous!!! What a nice ride through there. Love the bird shot. I am never successful at getting bird shots. I never get close enough. Hope to get a new zoom lense soon so I can get some better shots
