Busy, busy

Here's what's been keeping Kim busy this summer.

He did a make over on our kitchen; new paint, new tile, new light fixtures and new counter top.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

He also built this:

This nice little shed I didn't especially think we needed but now that it's finished I really like it.

It will house all our plant containers over the winter and the chicken food among other things.

(We have some winter plans for our greenhouse.)

Poor Kim has had to try keeping up with pretty much everything around here on his own this summer, including finishing these two major projects. He's been VERY busy!

Next post I'll show you what's been sucking up all my time......

Kim,

From the looks of these very cool projects you could be on American Handyman! Love the backsplash and the shed!

Funny, but I was really admiring the first photo of the kitchen, then realized that this one was the "before!" Well, I do LOVE the red, and the tiny tile. Very sweet and inviting. Of course, a good shed is hard to beat, for sure! And I am looking forward to hearing where & what you've been up to all summer...

Oh my Victoria ~ Kim is AWESOME!! I can't believe what he did ~ it all looks AMAZING. I bet you love to cook even more in there now? I think it was time well spent. Your shed is great too but now you really have me wondering what you're going to do in the greenhouse this winter!!!
It was great to see your comment the other day too!

Handsome and handy - you're a lucky woman! Really liked how the elements were changed around in the kitchen to give you such a fresh look - and that doll's house of a shed is so pretty. Is it sunny enough to do Teddy Bear Sunflowers in boxes there next summer? Wouldn't matter if you couldn't grow a thing - it really is so charming on its own!

Wow! and double wow! Victoria the kitchen makeover is quite outstanding... light and bright and my kind of kitchen. Kim, I could use one of those lovely sheds at my house. ;) Great job guys! Now enjoy the weekend. We'll offer a toast to your fine work.
