Halloween Decor

Browsing the internet I found these two ideas for outdoor Halloween decorations:

(Witch instructions here)

Here are the versions Kim and I developed:

I had all the equipment except for the mask and the white sheets so it wasn't too expensive.

The witch gives a little trouble staying upright (she likes napping I guess), especially with Mondays storm which caused power outages across town including here.

Wish the ghosts could have been taller. But overall I'm happy with the result.

The skeleton faces are river rocks I painted years ago and bring out from the garage every Halloween. Same with the two fake pumpkins; cut out years ago.

Hope everyone has a great Halloween.

YES YES YES! Your painted skull rocks are superb! Seriously love those! And your kitty-behind a- pumpkin jack-o-lantern is envy inducing.

What a great display. The rocks have an Edvard Munch quality - brilliant. How many children will you get on Saturday?

Prairie Chicken - Thanks!

Barbarapc - Usually we get around 30. I'm hoping for more this year.

Wow, your witch is the greatest, Victoria! Actually convincing-looking! Do you really mean to say those aren't real pumpkins? They sure fooled me! (But then, so did the witch!) And my cursor must have been obscuring part of your post title since I first read it as "Halloween Doctor." I immediately had thoughts of someone rushing around giving CPR to horrible Halloween displays. Thank heavens yours would never qualify! And a very happy Hallowe'en to you and yours!!!

Wow! looks like you all are ready for Halloween! Wish we had a few trick or treaters. Kind of takes the fun out it when no one comes to our neighborhood.

I'd be afraid to go to my garage if those rocks were there! You did a great job! Decorations - check! Come over, look at my check list!

je suis toujours étonné par cette tradition qui n'a pratiquement pas court ici en France, et l'intérêt que vous lui portez chaque année. Je trouve cela très amusant, cela nous annonce tout doucement les fêtes de l'hiver qui approche à grands pas ...

That witch is perfect! She looks like she is very intent on stirring the pot and the bubbles look absolutely real! That will be a display the kids will love for sure~

I love the faces on your river rocks - very creative and I bet they were fun to do. Your witch it great too. Super display. I really need to do more for Halloween than plug in a plastic pumpkin. LOL I really knock myself out doing that. hehehe
