Signs of Fall

Cooler weather has arrived along with afternoon walks into the foothills.

On the back porch ripening grapes fill the air with their sweet scent.

And indoors I've begun knitting again.

And on some other blogs;

Patsi at Garden Endeavors shows some fall flowers in her garden.

Same at The Hunky Gardener.

Rosemary retires! Congrats!

I am ready for fall now as well, even though we have summer temperatures again. I am looking forward to spending more time inside again.

Do you get a fee for promoting blogs? Just kidding.
Your're very thoughtful.
Nice touch.

Never did learn to knit.
My two Great Aunts used to try and teach me when I was around 10 years old but I guess I was too much of a tomboy at the time. Here's a hint to my age...my Aunts were born in 1882 and 1884.
Heck they were old then. NO, they are not alive today.

Have a great day,
Patsi

I also look forward to more indoor time. It seems strange for a gardener to say but there comes a day when you run out of energy. No more weeding, please!

Mmm. What are you going to do with all of those lovely grapes? I'd love to grow some of those here too, but I think my yard is too shady.

Your grapes are beautiful, a definite sign of fall. Something about fall always makes me want to start on a quilt.
