This past week I was fortunate to visit my friend Cindy in Twin Falls, Idaho. Cindy is currently caring for her mother who has terminal cancer.

We had a great visit.....good food, good wine, with a good friend.

Cindy showed me the "sights" such as they are in "Twin".

Shoshone Falls is certainly worth viewing, even when the water flow is down as it was during our visit. Shoshone Falls is actually 36 feet higher than Niagara Falls.

The view downriver...

Perrine Bridge leading into downtown Twin.

Short, short video of the falls.

I think Idaho must be under-represented, tourism-wise. There are so many neat places to see there that I've learned from your blog.

And it's great that you could visit with your friend during such a time... I'm sure your support means so much to her.

Amazing! This is why I love your blog. Your photos and video make this place a must see. Why isn't there more tourism in Idaho, it's beautiful!

I have to agree with mmichele - Idaho is goregeous! At least from the lens of your camera that is.

You are a good friend. Always bring wine - that certainly helps!

Dang, woman, you get to have the most fun! Your waterfall shot is gorgeous! I'm sorry about your friend's mother, I lost my own mother to cancer in 2001. I know what your friend is going through. But I'm glad you got to see her and spend some fun time together!

What a great way to spend a day! Visiting with friends over wine and then going out to see such natural splendor . . .
