Finally.............a job!

I was just hired today! I'm so thrilled. I can finally stop looking for work. And we can stop pulling money out of our savings. And, big plus, it's a job I've actually been wanting; at the Boise Co-op.

It's not in their wine shop, but that could happen eventually.

And......it means no more of this.....

I've been selling plasma twice a week. At first it was to pay for any extras, like wine tastings, presents, etc. Now it is for gas money, food, etc. But now......oh joy.......it's going bye-bye!

My new job starts next week. I've already bought my required work clothes (black slacks and white button-down shirt). So I'm ready to go and excited to start. I've never been off work this long (seven months) since I started working at 16 years old. At times the time off was nice, but I never really felt like I could enjoy it since I was always concerned about my next job. So, I'm happy, relieved, and ready to go back to work.

So happy for you. My husband and I always find the natural food stores in every town we visit, and we were quite impressed with the Boise Co-op, when we were there several years ago. We still talk about some of the great foods we tried at their deli!

I wish I could have sold plasma! But I've got a disease that prevents me from even donating, le sigh.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I hope you love it! What is it? Have fun!

I know what you mean about not being able to enjoy not working. I'm so worried about money now that I have a constant feeling of guilt. It's exhausting! I keep looking for jobs I can do, but so far, all of them are just too much for me. Arrggghhh! Wish I could make money snapping pix!

I look forward to reading about the job!

You must be on cloud nine, what a bit stress off your shoulders.
I am amazed at your selling your blood, but good for you to be so healthy to do so.
Yippee for your new job, will wait to hear how it goes.

Congrats on the new job! I saw your post on CWC on the post of my dog's pic (Moose the St. Bernard) but I didn't know you were Chelsea's mom. Was thrilled when I clicked and got to see more pics of Chelsea! What a gorgeous dog. If Corgis and Huskys ever become a breed I'm so getting one (I would imagine that cross is hard to find). I had a husky once and she was Houdini dog when getting out of the fence and then she'd run and run and wouldn't come when you called her. Does Chelsea have that side of Husky in her?
