I hope everyone had a great Christmas day.
I know we did; very calm and quiet. Vanessa, Casey and Cassie were all here for dinner and we all watched A Christmas Story which I hadn't seen in years.
We did miss my niece, Eva, but she's moved to Denver. Steph's parents are in town visiting so Steph spent the day with them.
The Crown Roast turned out great. Everyone agreed we should have it for the next Christmas dinner. (Too red for me so I didn't participate, but I was happy everyone liked it).
We also enjoyed a couple of great wines....
and Casey and Cassie gave us a unique gift certificate from the mall wine store...
There was plenty of food, chocolate and wine to go around. Some nice presents were received and given. Even without a job and with my unemployment checks about to run out, I can still see how fortunate I am and how much I have to be grateful for.

your crown roast looks fabulous
Wow! What a delightful looking Crown Roast! I bet that was really good. And the wines look like they went well with the roast. We have our "4 Days of Christmas" posted on our blog. Have a great New Years!
I had never see a crown roast before!
Now I drink a glass of Italian red wine to your health. Cheers!!!
Have a great New Year 2008

Bisous ! FX
