One of the things I enjoy about the green is the different variations of foliage--light, dark, fuzzy, smooth, etc. The greenery in itself is beautiful!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489236236876359231.post-89911560475340490212009-08-18T22:16:24.494-06:002009-08-18T22:16:24.494-06:00Awesome pictures and very pretty..

In spite of our lack of rain our shade garden is peaking this month. Except for annuals, asters, sedums, and susans, September will be a pretty quiet bloom month here, and we have lots of holey foliage here too. We'll be relying on the shades and textures of green, variegated, and some purple foliage as the late-summer bloomers fade until fall color kicks in.

I'm still waiting for buds on our hibiscus - I may feed it to encourage some bloom, and hope the Japanese beetles are gone if/when it does.garden girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13284047851881823280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489236236876359231.post-29746359697820149522009-08-17T14:52:04.383-06:002009-08-17T14:52:04.383-06:00Green gardens seem to be quite fashionable these d...Green gardens seem to be quite fashionable these days, I do like a bit of colour to mine though I must admit I've never been a great follower of fashion though.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07181200914575879730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7489236236876359231.post-53551157011963940852009-08-17T10:00:45.945-06:002009-08-17T10:00:45.945-06:00Your green looks so fresh!
