The rain turning to snow was so upsetting. I was worried about my seedlings as I have invested so much time in them and the inconvenience of having them all over the kitchen until mid May. Nonetheless, they survived this freak event, as did all the rest of my garden. Sheila in Eagle, Idaho.
Wow! That looks pretty dramatic for this time of year. Did you lose much? We had the same cold snap come through here and I lost a bunch of plants that should have been fine this time of year.
That is just entirely unfair. I've never seen allium all crunchy with snow. Do hope that spring has returned gently and that all is well - we're looking at murderous heat in the 90s - so very weird.
That is absolutely like something that would happen here. ugh. I'm so glad everything rebounded. Your tree peony bloom is fabulous and I'm so excited to see the clematis ~ I just planted that one. Now I can't wait for the day it looks like yours. Hope you are warming up and drying out. :-)
