More Yarn Work

Besides working, working, working I've been knitting, knitting, knitting.

I seriously think I'm addicted to knitting socks. Seriously. I love it.

I covet sock yarn at the knitting shop. I pore over sock pattern books. I plan my next pair and realize I don't have enough needles/hands to work on all my projects.

Here is what I've completed lately.

I'm really enjoying myself. One of these days I may even give a pair away. Maybe. If someone is sock worthy, that is.

There isn't much going on in the garden. It's been chilly. We even had snow yesterday.

This is about all there is to look at right now.

A few tulips are in bloom but not many.

However there is plenty going on in the cold frame and I'll post about that soon.

Your daffodils look very pretty. Hope it warms up there. We actually had some hail and then snow this morning. Now the sun is out. Crazy weather.

  14. These are all FANTASTIC Victoria! You must have the best dressed feet in town?!! :-)
I don't know how you would determine who is "sock worthy?" Maybe a very close loved one?? They are definitely a treasure I wouldn't want to part with either.
Looking forward to seeing/reading about your cold frame. We've had much the same weather....

  15. Echoing what has already been said in creative ways... those are some socks!

And the yellow daffodils look fresh and innocent. Ours of course, are long gone, and the vineyards are mostly trimmed-up and ready for all the spraying (oh help us!).

Looking forward to peeking into the cold frame...

  16. Knitting is next on my to do craft list.

How long do you work on a pair of these bad boys? Totally gorgeous.

In fact the striped ones are so amazing that I'm considering hiding in your bushes and waiting for you to hang them on the washing line...
