Winter? Spring?

Yesterday this was the weather....



.....ice on my windshield.

But this brave daffodil still managed to do it's thing this week. It is the first one to bloom in our garden this spring.

Yellow...such a springtime color, and so welcome.

    What a joy to see the first daffodil flowering and the first shoots pushing up from the cold ground. Sigh..............

    This is the winter that just doesn't want to let go, isn't it? So happy for your daffodils....mine have had buds for some time, but seem to be waiting for some warmth to bloom.
